Medical Health Care Vouchers


Elderly individuals aged 65 or above who qualify are eligible to receive $2,000 in medical vouchers starting on January 1st each year, with a cumulative limit of $8,000. These vouchers can be used to offset dental treatment and medication expenses (excluding dental products).

The process for using medical vouchers is simple – just bring your identification card when seeking treatment, and you can open an account and use them immediately.

Community Care Fund Elderly Dental Assistance Programme


The Care Fund provides “Elderly Dental Service Subsidies” for individuals aged 65 or above who are receiving the “Old Age Living Allowance (OALA).” The fund covers the following dental services:

  • Oral examination and X-rays
  • Teeth cleaning
  • Fillings
  • Tooth extraction
  • Removal of dentures and crowns
  • Root canal treatment
  • Provision of dentures

Eligible elderly can apply and arrange first appointment in person at district service units, including elderly centers, community centers, and dental clinics that accept applications.

Community Care Fund Application Procedure


How to apply for dental services under the Community Care Fund

Eligibility
Elderly individuals who have been receiving the “Elderly Living Allowance” for the past three consecutive months (approximately HKD 4,000 per month).

Application Method
Applicants should personally visit any of the service units listed to apply. Eligible elderly individuals receiving home care services can contact their service team to arrange for an application. It is recommended to call the selected service unit first to inquire about their operating hours.
